Nutrient composition

All food composition values are given as per 100 g edible part of the food i.e. meat without bone, apple without core, etc.
Minimum and maximum values are given when available, allowing the user to situate the content value within the range of values given by the different data sources. This also gives an idea of the variability in nutritional composition of the food item.
A zero (0) in the content column indicates that the content of the component in question is considered to be zero.

Missing values

Values have been given for all components, if found. A dash in the content column means that information about the component in question has not been found.

Traces

In some cases, a component was detected but could not be quantified, the trace value is indicated by “traces”.
