<BR>Institutional cooperations<BR><BR><BR><BR>The Agency participates in multiple cooperative efforts aiming to develop or reinforce the expert opinion capacities and the scientific structures of the new member States of the European Union and third-party countries. <BR><BR>In a bilateral framework, in response to European call for tender or on solicitations by international organisations (such as the World Organization for Animal Health - OIE), the Agency becomes involved, frequently alongside the State's departments, in actions of scientific, technical, and methodological support with its foreign institutional partners. <BR><BR><BR>The Agency and Europe<BR><BR>Leading player in the healthcare system<BR><BR>Appointed by the European Commission as an European Union Reference Laboratory on:<BR>· Health quality of milk and products made from milk<BR>· Listeria monocytogenes<BR>· Staphylococci<BR>· Colours and antibiotic residues<BR>· Serology of rabies<BR>· Rabies<BR>· Brucellosis<BR>· Equine diseases <BR><BR>The Agency represents France<BR><BR>· in the network of national assessment agencies on the risks associated with the safety of food and animal feed and with animal health and welfare, run by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA)<BR><BR>· in the network of national assessment agencies on human and veterinary medicinal products, run by the European Medicines Agency (EMEA)<BR><BR>The Agency has been appointed a “national Focal Point” for EFSA.
