The Financial and Technical Affairs Department has the following responsibilities:
- monitoring of the Agency's financial affairs, in particular preparing the budget and overseeing its execution, as well as implementation of cost accounting;
- implementation of procedures for public procurement contracts;
- programming and monitoring of real estate transactions;
- administrative and financial control of agreements for studies and research and development, service agreements and calls for research projects;
- logistical support to head office departments and services, and assistance to entities.
It is the responsibility of the Deputy Director General for Resources.
